THE BIG EVENTS AT EPITECH
It is not possible to be the innovative school and expert in computer science and teach in the “traditional” way. At Epitech, the teaching is supposed to be as interesting in its content as it is in the experiments it proposes. Below are a few examples of the year’s highlights:
The exhibition “Star Wars – An Art Odysseymi”
Epitech Marseille is a partner of the exhibition “Star Wars – An Art Odysseymi” for which three students created an application of total immersion in the world of the saga.
L’Université de la Terre 2015 (University of the Earth 2015)
On the occasion of the 6th Université de la Terre, Emmanuel Carli, Director of Epitech, together with students of the school, were invited to make presentations at conferences on the theme “Faisons changer tous les climats !” (Let’s change all the climates!)
The EIP Forum
Find out about the Epitech Innovative Projects (EIP), which took two years to devise as a truly entrepreneurial project and which were presented to the public and professionals last year on the occasion of the IEP Forum, the annual innovation event.
The DevFest at Epitech Nantes
th DevFest Nantes, jointly organised with Epitech Nantes, brought together no less than 700 participants to share and exchange ideas on technology related to the Web and the Cloud.
The Web Summit 2015
The Web Summit, held in Dublin, assembled 2,141 start-ups and 42,000 professionals. Many Epitech students attended and presented their projects but were also present as “special envoys” to get an idea about the future of the world and computer science.
Paris Games Week 2015
Epitech had a stand at the Paris Games Week, the largest trade fair for video games in France, to present to a very large public some of its interactive projects and video games which had remained (woven) behind the closed doors of Epitech.
Do The Right Team
“Do the Right Team” are events centred around different but complementary and essential themes (technical, business and design) for the success of a start-up. Return to the last events that were organised in Lyon.
A travelling holocat
The little virtual cat created by Kevin Lederman, a 2007 graduate of the Innovation Hub of Epitech Paris, is on its travels and being put on show at the Espace Croix-Baragnon and at the cultural centre Bellegarde in Toulouse.
The Spot Bouygues Events
The Bouygues Group has installed an innovation laboratory at Epitech where various events are organised such as the hackathons or the Tech Discovery Lab, dedicated to innovative projects by the group.
