EPITECH – UHA PARTNERSHIP
In the autumn of 2014 Epitech and the University of Haute-Alsace (USA) signed an agreement which defines their common strengths regarding the business world.
For Epitech, the partnership gives its students access to an award-giving diploma in its Masters for Project Management, which is a complementary academic tool to Epitech’s training, and which would take place after the 4th year.
This path is open to all international students on the basis of their applications.
International students will in this way have the opportunity to obtain, in addition to the Epitech title Expert en Technologies de l’Information de l’Epitech (Expert in Information Technology), a Masters in Science Management, specialising in Project Management, from the University of Haute-Alsace.
STRUCTURED WITH THE EPITECH DEGREE COURSE
In order to obtain the UHA Master’s degree, as well as the modules foreseen to obtain the Epitech diploma, the international students must ratify the main subject Management systèmes de l’information (Information management systems) which is taught by the UHA lecturers. The UHA modules will be issued on the Epitech campus during the 2nd year at Epitech.
CONDITIONS AND TERMS OF ACCESS
International students who are interested in this degree course must indicate their interest by applying during their first year at Epitech. Admission to the course is based on their applications which must be submitted to the international relations department of Epitech during their first year of study at Epitech.
Only those candidates who have ratified the Bachelor in Computer Science in their country of origin, as well as the modules in the first year of study at Epitech, are eligible.
The final decision on whether the student is accepted onto the course will be made at the end of the first year of studies at Epitech.
PRESENTATION OF UHA
The university is a highly professional institution as it has always known how to develop its active partnerships in socio-economic circles. This can be seen through the large number of professional training courses such as the DUT (Diplôme universitaire de technologie) (university and technology diploma) through to doctorates, via engineering diplomas. It is also strongly supported by the local authorities. In this way, the criteria “proximity and openness” comprise the two key words to describe UHA.
It is an innovative, multidisciplinary and important player in the building up of higher education and research, and UHA is part and parcel of the excellence in Alsace.
The University of Haute Alsace is associated with the University of Strasbourg which signifies that all diplomas bear both names (Unistra and UHA).
