COACHING BY EPITECH
As recruiters require good writing skills as well as technical knowledge, today they also recruit professionals who are capable of presenting and explaining orally their projects, actions, action plans, etc.
THE IMPORTANCE OF ORAL PRESENTATION
When working in a company, and whether or not one has a technological profile, it is necessary to know how to present orally actions during meetings, interviews, team presentations, etc. It is essential for future professionals, on the one hand, to know how to present their ideas in a clear and ordered fashion and, on the other hand, adapt their presentation to the listener.
Indeed, clients, partners, technical teams, directors, marketing teams, do not all speak the same “language” and it is up to the experts to choose how to present their talk so as to facilitate the understanding.
WORKING ON BEING AT EASE IN AN ORAL PRESENTATION
During the whole of their course, students from Epitech learn how to present orally their reflexions through the many projects and mini-projects they will have to bring to light.
The aim is to learn how to talk in a manner that flows, be clear in the argument and coherent towards the listener.
In the framework of Epitech Innovative Projects, the students are also specifically coached by their teachers for their presentation before a jury of professionals at the EIP Forum. They also prepare with their coach the making of a video on their project during which they must use all the space available, while at the same time deliver a succinct, yet complete, presentation of their EIP.
