WORKING WITH EPITECH
THE CHALLENGE OF THE QUEST FOR SECURITY
For over 15 years Epitech has been known as the reference point of private higher education establishments in the computer science world. With its strong national network of 13 schools, we have always built strategic partnerships with the biggest economic players in this domain, both private and institutional. Our innovative teaching methods, which are project-based, allows us to obtain a very high level of expertise from our students.
It is historically linked to computing security, and the school contributes directly to technological advancements thanks to experiments that have been carried out by our experts of the “Digital Security” laboratory (DS, see below) and the teaching that has been given on this subject to our students in the framework of the school’s course.
In this context, the project “Security Quest” (SG, see below) aims to confront, through practice, the expert knowledge that our students have gained from concrete cases proposed by our private and institutional partners.
Indeed, the SQ allows the computing security to be evaluated and the identification of security flaws of the systems under test. If the need arises, recommendations are made by our students to the head of computer services, in a confidential area, surrounded by our experts in the DS Lab. For the sake of clarity, the tests consist of retrieving computing certificates that are placed on targeted machines by those who are responsible for security in our partner organisations.
